A West Warwick man was arrested on his third drunk driving charge in the last week.
Rhode Island State Police say they arrested 54 year-old Robert Levesque early Monday morning after they spotted his white Saab stopped in the middle of Pond Street in West Warwick.
Troopers say as they approached the vehicle, Levesque was slumped forward in the driver's seat and was highly impaired. He faces charges including Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and Drugs, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and Driving on a Suspended License.
While being processed at the Wickford Barracks, it came to light that Levesque was also arrested on similar charges by West Greenwich Police on December 27 and 28.
He is being held without bail as a bail violator and is due back in court next month.
