Reports of a late night explosion on the bay have people in Barrington and Warwick asking questions.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Monday evening residents in Barrington and Warwick say they heard a loud explosion coming from the bay but when crews investigated the matter nothing was found.

Local police and fire departments sent boats out onto the bay but found no trace of any explosion or anything else that may have caused a loud bang.
