Two West Warwick men have been indicted on murder charges in connection to a hit and run that killed a 56-year old man.
According to the Providence Journal, in February 2012 21-year-old Christopher Schreffler was riding a dirt bike through a neighborhood when Michael Parrish complained about it.
Schreffler reportedly returned to the neighborhood later with some friends. 23-year-old Justin Schoonmaker allegedly ran over Parrish twice with his car.
Parrish died at Kent Hospital of massive blunt force trauma.
The grand jury indicted Schoonmaker of first degree murder and indicted Schreffler on a charge of second-degree murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.
The two are to be arraigned on February 1 in Superior Court in Warwick.
